Some purposes reveal themselves early. Mine took time.

I've always been drawn to three things: creating, connecting, and inspiring. Interior design gave those instincts a direction. Through studying, practicing, and moving through the process of curation, I realized that transforming a space is one of the most intimate things a person can do. What someone chooses to live with says something about who they are. Curation, at its best, is just helping people find the thing that already belongs to them — they simply haven't seen it yet.

What I kept running into was a gap. Everything felt like a mass-produced version of what everyone else already owned. At Lakay, I seek out makers and objects with real intention behind them. The things you live with should feel found, not just bought. I wanted to be at the head of a curation that helps people discover something that feels right for them — and that tells a story.
